Scent Trunk is a perfume publishing house that collaborates with indie perfumers. Each month they publish a different scent, and their guiding theme for the year 2020 was “supernatural future.”

These illustrations were made after I met with perfumers to learn about how ingredients were interacting to form a scent. They told stories, wrote poems, cited poems—and then I responded with abstract visuals for a promotional postcard.
